Senior women’s lacrosse advance to finals

The Six Nations Senior Women’s field lacrosse team is now standing at third place in the A Division going into provincials, which will he held this coming weekend in Orillia. The A Division is made up of 4 teams: Orangeville, Brampton, Six Nations and Oshawa. According to Head Coach Marisa Di Bari, “We will play a round robin first with the top two teams advancing to the final and the bottom two, to the bronze at the end of it. We were so close with Brampton this weekend losing 13-10. We know we can beat them next time!” Six Nations played and defeated the Toronto Stars with a score of 13 to 8.

This is Di Bari’s first year coaching with Six Nations and hopes to come back next year. “We have had a great time and my team truly reminded me why I fell in love with this beautiful game.””

Six Nations finishes off their regular season in fourth place in the A Division with 76 points, 9 wins and 4 losses.
