This twenty (20) hour per week position aims to achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration using telephone and internet sales to effectively sell the Two Row Times’ products and/or related services.

Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers using the telephone and Internet.
Generates leads for other sales reps through cold calling and e-newsletters
Approaches various individuals, organizations and institutions in order to sell subscriptions to the Two Row Times
Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
DETAILS OF FUNCTION:
Makes telephone calls and emails to prospective customers.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Develops clear and effective proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment.
Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Must possess a minimum of one year of sales experience
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
Ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
A valid driver’s license is required
Reports directly to the Sales Department Manager/Coordinator
