SIX NATIONS – Police say a man was found dead on Six Nations Reserve Wednesday evening.
Local residents reported a suspicious white Cadillac Escalade stopped in the northbound lane of Bateman Line around 7 p.m..
Police say a male was found with an apparent gunshot wound to the head, sitting in a lawnchair positioned next to the SUV. He was unresponsive and appeared to be deceased.
OPP’s Forensic Unit and the Coroner say the cause of death does not appear to be suspicious. He was transported to Hamilton General Hospital where he was declared dead.
Police say the victim has been identified as a 36 year old male from the Kitchener area.
