This past weekend the Eastern Canadian Youth Wrestling Championships were held in Moncton, New Brunswick. This competition is considered the National Championship for wrestlers aged six to 13. One Six Nations grappler was able bring home a medal from this highly competitive tournament. Aysen Lickers battled his way through a tough weight class to reach the gold medal match. Though Lickers was not able to win the final match he did come away with a Silver medal at the highest level of competition for his age group. Quite the accomplishment for the third-year wrestler.
