Brant County Health Unit says 7 confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2

As of Saturday March 28 at 11:00 a.m. Brant County Health Unit is confirming 7 people have tested positive for SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for the worldwide coronavirus pandemic.

In total there have been 309 Brantford-Brant residents tested for the virus.

Daily numbers of confirmed cases are being updated daily to the Brant County Health Unit’s dedicated coronavirus web page. The number of tests is also being posted publicly and will be updated weekly on Wednesday mornings.

The Brant Community Healthcare System has opened a COVID-19 Assessment Centre at the Civic Centre in Brantford which is seeing people by appointment only.

Anyone who may be experiencing coronavirus symptoms can use the provincial 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) self-assessment tool at https://www.ontario.ca/page/2019-novel-coronavirus to determine if you need to seek medical intervention.
