As part of Native American Heritage Month, the nationwide initiative inviting indigenous people to wear their traditional footwear with pride has again taken hold from November 12 until November 17. Indigenous people are encouraged to wear their footwear to work, to school and anywhere that they can to show pride in themselves and the artwork that adorn their footsteps. Many are encouraged to take to social media to share their footwear as well. Photo By Chezney Martin.
