WBLGN is seeking ambassadors for Women’s Box Lacrosse

ONTARIO — The Women’s Box Lacrosse Global Network (WBLGN) is a newly named organization “designed to harness the power and passion of the global sisterhood of lacrosse” by promoting a world game stance on the sport for girls and women.

“The Women’s Box Lacrosse Global Network focuses on promoting, advocating for and supporting Women’s Box Lacrosse around the globe and at every level. Whether you’re just starting out in the game, playing in an organized league, having fun playing recreationally with a coed team, or preparing to compete in a World Box Lacrosse Championship, we want to hear your stories and highlight your journeys,” reads the WBLGN Facebook page.

“We believe the best way to get girls and women into the game is to work together like a team, celebrate and empower each other, share ideas, and resources and spread the word across the globe that women want to play box lacrosse and play it at the highest level.”

Those interested in being a part of the WBLGN team, are asked to seek out and fill out the WBLGN Ambassador application online, with the promise that the organization will be in touch with the successful applicants.
