SIX NATIONS – Six Nations firefighters were dispatched in response to a report of a structure fire at 1876 on 2nd Line Road on Thursday, September 17.

First arriving crews reported an abandoned structure fully engulfed in flames with a collapsed roof.

A thorough search of both the area and within the structure before and after combating the fire was conducted, with no victims or civilians found.

The structure was identified as a complete loss and due to its abandoned state, the estimate of damage is unavailable. The fire is suspected arson.

The police urge anyone that witnessed any suspicious activity at either fire location around the time of the fires to contact the Six Nations Fire Department (519) 445-4054 or the Six Nations Police (519) 445-2811.
