OHSWEKEN — Michelle Farmer’s Studio of Dance & Modelling in Ohsweken have brought home a huge victory from the Showstoppers National Dance Championships at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.
Eighteen dancers travelled to the national competition from July 14-25 and brought home several titles.
Jazz Fuller’s Senior Hip Hop group was named 1st Place Overall and 1st Place Platinum. The Senior team also won Platinum in Jazz and Tap competitions with 3rd and 4th Place Overall winners.
The Mini Competitive team, Junior A and Junior B teams also competed at the national championships. The competitions continue this week with the Minis are headed to the east coast and New York City for more competitive dancing.
