NEW YORK — For the second year in a row, indigenous model Quannah Chasinghorse is making an impact with her real representation at the Met Gala. Chasinghorse wore a turquoise tulle covered woven designed by Prabal Gurung that was topped off with a stunning bead and dentalium shell choker drop set and matching arm cuffs designed by Antelope Women Designs. In her hair the model wore braids and eagle feathers.
The Met Gala is the annual fundraising gala event held fo rthe Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City. It’s touted as being the world’s most prestigious fashion event. This year’s theme was “Guilded Glamour” to celebrate the fashion history of the USA. Fashion industry icons, celebrities, actors, models and influencers from around the world attend the yearly event.
