Survey shows long-COVID symptoms on Six Nations

OHSWEKEN — Six Nations Health Services says residents who have contracted COVID-19 are reporting long lasting symptoms that continue even after their illness has resolved.

According to a Post-COVID-19 Symptom Survey, respondents reported that 62% of people who have overcome the initial illness are still experiencing long-COVID symptoms.

The most common symptoms reported include: 55% reporting brain fog and difficulty concentrating; 46% reporting fatigue, and loss of taste and smell; and 36% reported breathlessness.

SNHS says this is the first wave of the survey and are looking for more people who have overcome COVID to respond. Details on how to participate can be found on the Healthy 6Nay Facebook page.
