Fentanyl, cocaine seized in arrest of 23 year old Brantford man

BRANTFORD — Another cache of drugs was seized Thursday in a cooperative arrest between Brantford Police and Six Nations Police services.

The two forces executed a search warrant at a Henry Street residence in Brantford connected to an earlier traffic stop where a 23 year old male was arrested.

Upon search of the vehicle and residence police seized Cocaine, Benzocaine, Methamphetamines, Fentanyl and Oxycodone pills with a street value of approximately $16,000.

Digital scales, cell phones, drug packaging, and money were also found during the search.

As a result of this investigation, Marcel Laidman, 23, of Brantford, has been charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Oxycodone
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamines
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
Possession – Cocaine
Possession Under $5,000
Breach-Probation

He was held in police custody for a bail hearing on August 13.
