Indigenous man Trent LaForme missing from Hamilton

The family of Trent LaForme are asking for help from the public, saying the 29 year old Indigenous man from Hamilton has not been seen in days.

Hamilton Police issued a statement Friday morning saying Trent was last seen on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at about 1:00 a.m. and family members told Two Row Times he has not been heard from since then.

TRT has learned LaForme told family members he was going out to get food and was driving a rental car in the early morning hours of November 11 and did not return home. The car was found on an exit ramp to the 403 near York Road at around 10:00 a.m. later that morning and LaForme was nowhere to be found.

Family tells TRT they are concerned for his safety and say that he was feeling unwell in the last few weeks — experiencing increasing physical and mental distress and they are concerned for his wellbeing.

He is described as male, Indigenous and 6 feet tall, approximately 230 lbs with short black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on his left and right hands spelling the names ‘Aaliyah’ and ‘Alyvia’. Trent was wearing dark jeans, a black t-shirt, black Adidas backpack and black and white Air Jordan shoes.
