Brantford woman arrested for possession

A Brantford woman was arrested after a stop of a suspected impaired driver on Fourth Line Road when police discovered that the woman was actually in possession of cocaine.

On Aug. 9, 2022, during a search of a vehicle, Six Nations Police officers who attended the scene saw a white powdery substance they believed to be cocaine.

Police, along with Six Nations Emergency Medical Services, had responded to a call of a possible impaired driver at a Fourth Line Road gas station.

When police arrived, they did not detect any signs of impairment by drugs or alcohol.

Due to the white substance, police arrested the female driver for possession of cocaine and took her into custody without incident.

Jillian Fraser, 42, of Brantford, was charged with the following criminal offences:

– Possession – cocaine

– Fail to Comply with an Undertaking (two counts).

She was held for a formal bail hearing on Aug. 10, 2022.
