SIX NATIONS — Power was knocked out to areas in and around Ohsweken Sunday evening after a single vehicle crash near Fourth Line and Chiefswood Road.
Six Nations Police say a white Ford Taurus struck a hydro pole, causing a transformer to fall to the ground with low hanging wires. When first responders arrived at the scene of the crash the driver or any occupants had fled the scene. Ontario Hydro worked through the night to repair the damage. Police are asking for any eyewitnesses to the crash to come forward.
