OHSWEKEN — Six Nations Police conducted a traffic stop which resulted in a drug bust.
On October 24, 2022, Six Nations Police observed a prohibited male driver operating a motor vehicle and attend a local store on 2nd Line Road where the female occupant of the vehicle was arrested without incident.
Police entered the store and safely placed the male under arrest who was being actively resistant.
Police seized cocaine, purple fentanyl, and bundled currency. Inside the vehicle police seized additional fentanyl, a digital scale, and cell phones.
Police arrested and charged Richard Arthur Bomberry, 36, of Ohsweken with trafficking fentanyl, cocaine; impaired driving and resisting arrest.
Also facing charges of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine is Yvonne Blair Styres, 32, of Ohsweken.
