OHSWEKEN — Three people from Six Nations are charged with drug trafficking after an investigation turned up fentanyl and ammunition.
Six Nations Police executed a search warrant on February 10 at a home on Sixth Line that led to the seizure of fentanyl, drug packaging, ammunition and cellphones.
Angela Leah Powless, 48-years-old of Brantford is charged with: Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking and Ammunition – Careless Use. She was remanded into custody.
Leighanna Louise General, 26-years-old of Ohsweken is charged with Possession of fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking, Ammunition – Careless Use and Fail to Comply with Release Order. She was also arrested, held for a bail hearing and remanded into custody.
David Stewart Burning, 47-years-old of Ohsweken is charged with Possession of fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking and Ammunition – Careless Use. He was arrested and released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
