OHSWEKEN — Six Nations Elected Council issued a statement on November 9, recognizing the contributions of former Housing Director Karen Bomberry.
Bomberry died on November 8, at the age of 58.
SNGR issued a statement saying, “A fearless and dedicated Director of Housing, and a long time employee of Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council, Karen was a valued leader of the Housing team and her commitment to the community will not be forgotten.”
Bomberry is survived by her husband Lynn, children Shelby and Nicole; her grandchildren and family.
“We grieve the loss of Karen alongside them and are keeping them in our thoughts at this difficult time,” wrote SNGR.
