Members of the Haldimand Quilters Guild were on hand to showcase the beautiful handcrafted quilt they are donating to the West Haldimand Hospital Foundation Auction.
The “Baltimore Bliss” appliqué quilt measures 94 X 80 inches in heritage hues of blue, gold and wine colours. In the above photos from left to right are: Audrey Mitchell, Shirley Kellar, Debbie Allan, and Betty Carpenter.
The annual auction is a fundraising event with all proceeds going to purchase new equipment for the West Haldimand General Hospital. The auction will be held on Saturday November 16 at the Hagersville Community Centre at 6:30 pm.
Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Hospital Foundation office or at Sayer’s Home Hardware Store.
There are many unique items to be auctioned including: dinner gift certificates; jewelry; décor items; a tilt chair; gourmet preserves; child’s motorized John Deer tractor; child’s sofa; Toshiba 39 inch LED HDTV; solar lights; bird feeder and feed; limited edition art; hand crafted petty point “Blue Boy “and “Pink Lady” and so much more.
There is a wide array of items something for everyone’s style.
