Hank’s Place camping opens with Music Fest

SIX NATIONS – There will be lots of music and fun this coming weekend at Hank’s Place as the 2014 camping season kicks off with a music festival and open stage. Family Rough Camping at Hank’s Place runs from May 17th until the end of the camping season in September.

The camping season begins without trailer hook-ups ready, but trailers are welcome.

The two-day Music Festival, hosted by Angela Siracusa, gets going following the 4:30pm ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the camp. At 6 pm, Hailee Rose takes the stage followed by Philip J Bosley and Matt Keighan at 7 pm. Angela Siracusa is on at 8 pm, followed by the Jeff Brown Band at 9 pm.

To register for the open mic session, which runs from 11 pm until 1 am, check in at 3 pm before the festivities begin.

Sunday, May 18th, begins with opening ceremonies starting at 11 am, featuring Mark LaForme. Live music continues at noon and more open mic time is scheduled for 1:30 until closing at 3 pm.
