Justice wants guidance from members

OHSWEKEN — Six Nations Justice Department is seeking feedback from the community on their strategic plan.

A community survey is being distributed to all households looking for guidance from members on what the Justice department should prioritize in developing it’s services.

The Justice Department currently provides multiple services to Six Nations band members moving through the criminal justice system including accused persons and victims. They are also working on developing community standards as a way to upgrade Six Nations bylaws.

Anyone interested in participating in the survey can find it online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/QDZT8HT and paper copies are being distributed. Email Jayne Mallin mallinjayne@gmail.com for more information.
