Police look for items in homicide

BRANTFORD — City Police are reaching out to the public for assistance locating clothing items they believe are connected to a homicide investigation.

On October 22, police responded to a male stabbing victim. That individual has not been identified by police.

The accused, Nicholas Craig, 20, fled from police and was arrested around Park Road and Chatham Street. He is facing charges of 2nd degree murder.

Now police say the accused disposed of some clothing items as he fled police in the area of Superior Street and Cayuga Street, and are asking the public for help.

From the scene of the crime to the place of arrest, officers believe that Craig discarded a dark-coloured coat with a hood and camouflage-style pattern across the back shoulder area; a light coloured plaid zipper hoodie and a black beanie and baseball hat.
