BRANTFORD — Brantford Police and emergency rescue workers in Brantford carried on in a three day search for a fisherman believed to have been pulled into the river.
Police say a 911 call from witnesses reported seeing the man become submerged under the water in the Grand River near Erie Avenue. City police, OPP and firefighters launched a search for the missing man.
He is described as a white male with grey hair — approximately 50 years old. He was last seen wearing a toque and lumberjack style jacket.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information about the whereabouts of the man described are asked to contact Brantford Police.
