School collects more than 500 items for food drive

SIX NATIONS – The J.C. Hill Elementary School held its annual Christmas Basket Food Drive. Each class was given the challenge of collecting the most canned goods. the school collected more than 500 nonperishable products combined.

The winning class was the Intermediate Multi-Level class for collecting 328 canned goods. They won a pizza party. the class also made cookies and sold hot chocolate to purchase diapers, wipes and baby food. The class would like to thank their parents for all their support and canned good they donated.
