SIX NATIONS – The community was cheerfully alive this weekend as folks from the surrounding area came out to Shop Local Shop Native at the Christmas Bazaar Weekend in the territory.
Haudenosaune artisans from as far away as Akwesasne had their best works on display; from handmade traditional corn husk dolls, to wallets completely made out of duct tape.
Visitors touring the shows nibbled on baked goods and hummed along to Christmas carols.
If you missed the bazaars this weekend don’t fret.
The Iroquois Lacrosse Arena is hosting the 9th Annual Christmas Bazaar and Craft Show on November 30th & December 1st at the ILA.
They will be open daily until 4pm.
