OHSWEKEN – One usually thinks of the Six Nations Food Bank during the Christmas season, but the need is a year round one which Ellen Rose Jamieson, Food Bank co-ordinator, is all too familiar with. That’s why she was so pleased when the Rebels made a donation.
“We really appreciate the donation of food as well as this cheque,” she said when the donation was made on Monday, February 27. “The Rebels have been doing this for some time now and it is really appreciated.”
Team president Scott Maracle is proud to be able to contribute back to the community that supports them and thanks those who contributed at the special fundraising game.
