Students compete for spot in district track and field

SIX NATIONS – Students at Emily C. General School competed for spots in the Six Nations district track and field event last week, which takes place Wednesday June 7.

Students participated in: standing long jump, running long jump, triple jump, high jump, ball throw/shot put, several different races, and more.

Talia Skye (right), a student from Emily C. General School, won first place in three events and had a good time participating in the daylong activities.

“I had a lot of fun today,” she said. “It was fun and feels good to have done so well.”
