Two stabbed in early morning assault

SIX NATIONS — Police are investigating after an altercation on Sunday morning left two people stabbed.

Police say at 9:30 a.m on Sunday May 31, they were called to a stabbing on First Line Road. When officers arrived they found two victims, a male and female, suffering stab wounds.

A female suspect had attended the residence and damaged the male victims truck and assaulted him with a bat.

When the male victim told the suspect to stop, she assaulted him with the bat and stabbed him in the left arm and chest.

The female suspect then proceeded into the residence, and assaulted and stabbed the female victim. The two continued to fight after the female victim was stabbed.

The suspect then fled in a red Ford Escape.

Six Nations Paramedics treated the two victims. Police say the male victim received non life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene. The female victim was taken by ambulance to Hamilton General Hospital and is now in stable condition. Six Nations Police are investigating.
