OHSWEKEN – The Six Nations Fire Department has become home to a brand new aerial fire truck as the ceremony for it’s arrival began at lunch on Tuesday, December 13.

With an aerial ladder that can reach over 100 feet as well as other equipment that can help the fire fighters within Six Nations perform their service safely and efficiently; and Fire Chief Matthew Miller was the first to offer appreciation.

“It’s a very incredible day today,” said Miller. “I know I’m a very stoic type of gentleman, but on the inside I have a gigantic smile going on bigger than the one on the outside,” he joked.
