Six Nations Police Briefs

FAIL TO REMAIN MVC

SIX NATIONS — On Friday August 14 2015 at 7:27 PM, Six Nations Police attended a Cayuga Road address, in response to a reported roll-over Motor Vehicle Collision.

Police learned that the 19 year old female driver of a blue 2001 Oldsmobile Alero was struck from behind by a female Suspect driving a white pickup truck.  The blue Alero hit the ditch rolling over and ejecting the female driver.  The 6 month old baby in the rear car seat of the Alero was in shock but appeared to be uninjured.

The 19 year old female was taken to hospital for injuries sustained in the roll-over.  Her infant son was also taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the white truck fled from the scene, failing to remain. The white truck involved was located on August 16th, destroyed by fire, in a field on Six Nations.

Six Nations Police have a Suspect and continue to investigate.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED – FEMALE CHARGED

SIX NATIONS — On Sunday August 14th, 2015 at approximately 11:35 AM, Six Nations Police attended a Second Line Road residence, to investigate a stolen Hyundai Santa Fe that was observed parked in the laneway.

Police investigated the incident, and were able to determine that the stolen SUV had been in the possession of a 23 year old female from Six Nations.

Krista Lee Martin (23 years old) was arrested and charged with Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000, and Breach Probation. Martin was to be in Brantford Bail Court on Monday August 17th, 2015, to answer to the Charges against her. The vehicle involved was a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe SUV stolen from the Six Nations area.
