Chief consider co-operation with Dominion Government in 1923

April 3rd, 1923

General Council opened in due form by Chief David John, one of the Fire Keepers. The Council decided unanimously that it is ready to accept an offer by the Dominion Government if sanctioned by the Dominion Parliament, that all matters in dispute between that Government and the Six Nations of the Grand River, be submitted to a Board or Arbiytrators, one to be appointed by the Dominion Government, and one by this Council and the third by the two first chosen, all three of whom to be British subjects and that the Speaker is hereby authorized to communicate this decision to the Dominion Government.
