Six Nations boxer, Karl Hess fought Chris Abate from the Blue Water Boxing Club over the weekend.
Karl gave his opponent a standing eight count in the first round with a straight right hand then another eight count in the second round with an up-jab witch snapped his head back.
In the third round, Hess attacked with a flurry of punch combo several of which landed causing the referee to stop to the contest declaring Hess the winner by TKO.
Karl is now 6-0 for his amateur career. He will be the main event in Brantford on May 21 at the Brantford Curling Club, at 34 Morrel St. Doors open at 5 p.m. first bout at 6 p.m. for this licensed event. Submitted Photo
