The Caledonia Pro-Fit Corvairs will face the Leamington Flyers when the Jr. B Sutherland Cup semi-finals begin.
The Best of seven series begins this coming Friday, April 10, at the Haldimand Centre Arena beginning at 7:30. Game #2 is in Leamington Sunday at 7:10 with Game #3 back in Caledonia Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30. Game #4 is in Leamington Thursday, at 7:10 with Game #5, if necessary, at home at 7:30. Game #6 if necessary, will be in Leamington on Sunday, April 19th for 4:10 Start. Should it go the distance, Game #7 will be played in Caledonia Monday April 20th at 7:30.
General Manager Brian Rizzetto has scouted the Flyers and anticipates a very close and tough series.
Meanwhile, the Elmira Sugar Kings, who took the Mid-Western Conference title, will face off against the wild card Lasalle Vipers. The winners of each go for the Sutherland Cup, which the Corvairs won last year. All series are best of seven.
