SIX NATIONS — The Carney Elijah Johnson Foundation will be hosting their first ever fishing derby in the month of October.
On October 5, fishermen are invited to visit the Grand River from 7 a.m., to 4 p.m., to try to hook some fish for prizes in the categories of largest bass and largest fish of any species. First, second and third place will be awarded after participants put forward a $50 registration fee and $10 launch fee.
As usual, all of the money raised will go back into the Six Nations community for mental health and suicide prevention.
