Indigenous Ontario Championship for Golf opens for registrants

ONTARIO — Golf Ontario announced on April 6 that registration is now open for the 1st annual Indigenous Ontario Championship.

This championship will be conducted September 18 to September 20 at MontHill Golf and Country Club in the Six Nations of the Grand River Territory.

The Indigenous Ontario Championship will feature a 90 Player Field, multiple player categories including Men’s Gross, Women’s Gross, Men’s Net Stableford, Women’s Net Stableford, the top Junior & Senior players will also be recognized with 2 competitive rounds, a practice round, a Golf Ontario gift, and lunch.

With a $200.00 Championship entry fee, player Eligibility includes: applicant must be a member of the Indigenous Community (First Nations, Métis & Inuit), must be a Golf Ontario/Golf Canada Member, and a handicap factor of: Men’s – 22.0 or lower, Women’s – 30.0 or lower
