ONTARIO —Each year, the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships (NAHC), founded by the Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC), provides a platform for elite Bantam and Midget-aged Indigenous hockey players from across Canada to showcase their athletic abilities amongst other athletes from across the country. The tournament also fosters cultural unity and pride, and serves as a focal point for grassroots and regional Aboriginal hockey development.
The expression of interest for the 2024 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships opened on Wednesday, October 18. The 2024 tournament is set to place in Grand Prairie, Alberta from May 6-12.
Indigenous youth born between 2006-2010 are welcomed to submit their expression of interest, including stats, video, photos, and coach references, by signing in or registering through a portal on the ISWO website.
By submitting an expression of interest for Team Ontario, coaches and managers will be enabled to identify you for scouting during the season, and also to contact you for tryout information. Try out information will be determined in the new year.
