NLL announces key dates for fall 2023

PHILADELPHIA – On August 2, the National Lacrosse League announced key dates leading up to its season start in early December, including the dates for the 2023 NLL Draft and the 2023 NLL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, both of which will be held the weekend of September 15 in the Toronto metropolitan area.

The NLL’s key dates in the coming months include: the NLL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Burlington, Ontario on Sept. 15, the 2023 NLL Draft in Oakville, Ontario on Sept. 16, a notice that the NLL Training Camps officially open on Oct. 28-29, and the 2023-24 NLL Faceoff Weekend will take place on Dec. 1-2.

The NLL will induct 10 new members into the NLL Hall of Fame. Among the honourees are eight former players and two referees under the Builders category. The Class of 2021 will represent the first additions to the NLL Hall of Fame since 2016, with the inaugural members having been inducted in 2006.

On the following day, August 3, more internal transactions were released, including that the Georgia Swarm signed Dustin Hill to a two year agreement and signed Lyle Thompson to a three year agreement, while the Halifax Thunderbirds signed Kevin Hill to a one year agreement.

Earlier in July, it was noted that The Colorado Mammoth signed Ty Thompson to a two year agreement and have placed him on the Active Roster from the Injured Reserve List, the Halifax Thunderbirds signed Warren Hill to a two year agreement, and signed Nonkon Thompson to a three year agreement and placed him on the Active Roster from the Physically Unable to Perform List, wile the Albany FireWolves signed Ty Logan to a two year agreement.
