  1. CATHARINES — Six Nations standout Wenster Green has signed a one-year deal with the Georgia Swarm and has also been placed on their Player Practice List.

The defensive stalwart suited up for six games with the Ohsweken Demons this season, registering six goals and four assists. Green was originally drafted 40th overall by the Buffalo Bandits in the 2012 NLL Entry Draft and has also spent time with the Rochester Knighthawks. The Swarm currently sit in 4th place in the NLL East Division.

Reigning C-Lax MVP, J. Preece, has signed a one-year deal with the New England Black Wolves and has been placed on their Practice Player List. Preece had a career year this season with the Niagara Lock Monsters, posting six wins, two losses and an 8.36 GAA to go along with a .819 SV%. Preece has had previous stints in the NLL with the Philadelphia Wings, Toronto Rock and Colorado Mammoth. The Black Wolves could benefit from having a net minder of Preece’s calibre while they try and lock down a 2016 playoff berth.
