Peewees opened with a lot of gusto versus the Cayuga Stars

OHSWEKEN – The Six Nations Peewees opened with a lot of gusto versus the Cayuga Stars on Sunday, February 26, earning a close victory 4-3.

The first period showed a lot of movement and determination as the Peewees mainly played offence. This allowed the first goal of the game by Damon Decaire, assisted by Mitch VanEvery.

The second period showed the same kind of energy as Cole Powless scored again after a pass from VanEvery. The Stars returned a goal, but finishing the period Thunder Hill scored with an assist by Blair Green.

Shortly into the third period, the Stars scored two consecutive goals only minutes between each other. But, as though fuelled by more determination, Zach Johnson scored the final goal of the game and broke the tie 4-3.
