The Buffalo Bills are off to a hot start in their NFL Preseason matches with another 31-7 win over the Cleveland Browns. QB’s Kyle Allen & Shane Buechele led the air attack combing for 239 passing yards and 2 TD’s. RB’s Ian Wheeler & Frank Gore Jr led the ground attack with a combined 110 rushing yards. WR JaMori Maclin led all wide receivers with 108 reception yards to go along with a touchdown. The Bills will play their final preseason game tomorrow night in Buffalo in new Highmark stadium at 7pm vs Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bills will then have two weeks off as they prepare for their first regular season game in Houston against the Texans on Sunday, September 13th at 1pm.
In MLB news, the hometown Toronto Bluejays took a step in the wrong direction over the weekend, losing 2 out of 3 games in NYC to the Yankees. The jays lost Friday night 3-1, won on Saturday 4-3, then lost sunday 8-3. The Jays currently hold a record of 64-68 and are in a tight 6 team race for the final wildcard playoff spot. This week the Jays are back home in Toronto for a 3 game series against the Kansas City Royals. Pitching matches for each game: Tuesday night, KC pitcher Seth Lugo vs Max Scherzer, Wednesday & Thursday pitching matchups are TBD. The Bluejays are currently sitting 4th out of 5 teams behind the Tampa Rays 78-53, NY Yankees 74-56 & Boston Red Sox 72-59.
In College football news, week one is finally here! A new season of exciting college football kicks off this Saturday across United States. Big games to look out for this Saturday include Memphis vs UNLV -4, Hawaii vs Stanford, and North Carolina State vs Virginia.
