An Ohsweken man is facing numerous charges after a drug investigation on Six Nations and in Brantford.
On July 28, the Six Nations Police Drug Enforcement Unit executed four search warrants as part of a drug trafficking investigation.
The warrants took police to multiple vehicles, a property on Dundas Street in Brantford, and a property on Hwy. 54 near Chiefswood Road.
One adult male was taken into custody without incident. An adult female was later arrested and charged.
The investigation led to the seizure of 307 grams of cocaine, about $15,000 in currency and one imitation firearm.
Jayme Christopher Hill, 37, of Ohsweken, is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Proceeds of crime over $5,000
- Failing to comply with a probation order (two counts)
Susan Devuyst, 26, of Brantford, is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
- Proceeds of crime over $5,000
Hill was held pending a bail hearing. Devuyst was released on a promise to appear.
