Six Nations community members are calling for an accounting of the millions spent to create the controversial Cannabis Control Law which elected council has now repealed. The 59th Elected Council announced the repeal effective immediately, five years after the law passed. Council spent $4.86 million on cannabis regulation since 2018, yet only one licensed business operated at the start of the comment period.
