On October 22, audiences in Mississauga will have the opportunity to experience an extraordinary gathering of Indigenous talent when She Carries The Song comes to the Living Arts Centre.

Bringing together three acclaimed Indigenous artists, Celeigh Cardinal (Cree), Mimi O’Bonsawin (W8banaki), and Lacey Hill (Oneida/Mohawk), the performance is a celebration of voice, culture, resilience, and connection. Through powerful songs, personal storytelling, and moving harmonies, each artist shares perspectives rooted in her Nation, community, and lived experience.

More than a concert, She Carries The Song creates an intimate space where audiences can connect with Indigenous stories and traditions through music. The artists carry forward songs inspired by their ancestors, homelands, and journeys as women, culture bearers, and changemakers. Together, they weave a powerful evening that honours both tradition and contemporary Indigenous expression.

The performance takes place in the intimate Studio Theatre at the Living Arts Centre, allowing audiences to experience every story and song up close. With tickets starting at just $30, the event offers an accessible opportunity to enjoy world-class Indigenous artists in a welcoming setting.

Located in the heart of Mississauga, the Living Arts Centre is easy to reach from across the GTA. Visitors can take advantage of free underground parking and convenient access to MiWay Transit and GO Transit connections through the nearby Square One transit hub.

Whether you are discovering these artists for the first time or are already familiar with their music, She Carries The Song offers an evening of reflection, celebration, and community.
