BARRIE — An international team of divers has discovered the wreckage of a ship in Georgian Bay that disappeared more than 100 years ago.
Officials say the ship vanished during a storm in 1906 with 30 people onboard. Only one persons body was found after that storm. Researchers have been looking for the wreckage for decades. Divers reported seeing the hull of the ship in tact and parts of the steam engine but no sign of human remains.
