NORFOLK COUNTY — Ontario Provincial Police say they received a report of human remains in Lake Erie near Pottahawk Point.
Boaters near Pottahawk Point observed what they believe to be human skeletal remains in the water and contacted police.
OPP and anthropologists are working on determining the age and origin of the remains. Further details will be released when available.
Public assistance is requested in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
