On Saturday, January 29, 2022, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment, Haldimand County Fire Services, and Haldimand County Emergency Services responded to a collision involving two snowmobiles in a field near South Cayuga Road and Lakeshore Road.
One of the drivers sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for further assessment.
The other driver was not injured.
Thank you to the Good Samaritan for assisting with the transportation of the injured party from the field utilizing his snowmobile and a stretcher.
