Province to hold public meetings to combat systemic racism

TORONTO – The province will host community meetings with organizations and the public to address systemic racism and how to eliminating barriers for indigenous and racialized communities.

Michael Coteau, Minister Responsible for Anti-Racism, will host nine public community meetings for feedback from people in Ontario about how to address systemic racism and implement change.

The community meetings will identify priority areas to address in developing anti-racism policies, programs and services.

The first meeting will take place in Toronto on July 14.
