SNP arrest Hamilton teens after robbery

SIX NATIONS — Five teens were arrested in Ohsweken after a robbery in Hagersville.

Police say just before 6pm on Sunday, two male suspects were seen trying to hide bottles of liquor under their clothes when they were spotted by a witness.

One of the suspects assaulted an employee of the business as the pair fled the store in a vehicle police later located near Fourth Line and Chiefswood Road in Ohsweken.

Two males and a female were located fleeing the vehicle and were arrested. Two more suspects were also located and arrested. Police say the vehicle was previously reported stolen.

Four teen males and one teen female, all from Hamilton, were arrested and are now facing criminal charges. They are to appear in court at a later date to face those charges..
