Bantam No.2s blow lead against Leafs

OHSWEKEN – Six Nations Bantam No.2 Blackhawks suffered a third-period collapse against the visiting Langton Leafs No.1 squad Saturday afternoon at the Gaylord Powless Arena (GPA). Leafs’ Evan Demaiter scored first but Six Nations’ Brody Thomas evened the score before the end of the first period.

Wes Longboat gave Six Nations the lead in the second period, unassisted, and Donavan Monteforte closed the period assisted by Longboat and Thomas.

With the Blackhawks up 2-1 as the third period began, the Leafs opened it up in the third, scoring four unanswered goals scored by captain Nolan Ansevuw, with two, Seth Baker Lawson and Greg Penner to complete the Langton comeback from a 4-1 deficit to a 5-3 Leafs win.
