SN Novice No. 1 scored comeback win

OHSWEKEN — Six Nations No. 1 LL Novice squad shook off a 2-0 first period deficit to win their Saturday afternoon matchup with the Delhi Rockets at the Gaylord Powless Arena.

Delhi jumped into a 2-0 lead with Kenneth Moyer and Heath Stefek doing the honours. With 2:07 remaining in the period Six Nations’ No. 10 scored from Silas Anderson and Tyttan Jacobs to end the first period with Delhi still clinging to a 2-1 lead.

Jacobs scored in the second period, this time from Tryton Jacobs and Calder Anderson and the score was tied at 2-2.

The mysterious No. 10, whose name did not appear on the game sheet, scored his second of the game before the end of the period to give Six Nations a 3-2 lead with period left to play.

Emmitt Vyse-Hill kept the ball rolling for Six Nations with an unassisted goal halfway into the final frame and three minutes later, Kalem Powless put the finishing touched on the 5-2 Six Nations win.
